Affiliate disclosure

How CharmingHotelsUSA makes money, what that changes, and what it does not.

CharmingHotelsUSA earns affiliate commission. Here is exactly how that works.

What happens when you click

The Check availability button on every hotel card sends you to that property's page on Booking.com. If you book, Booking.com may pay us a commission. You pay the same rate you would pay going there directly - there is no markup and no surcharge.

What it does not change

  • It does not decide which hotels appear. Selection is done by the published criteria on each page.
  • It does not decide the order. Ranking is by Charming Score, whose formula is published in full.
  • It does not remove the downsides. Every card still carries its Know before you book line.
  • It does not buy a property a place here. Nothing on this site is for sale.

Why we tell you before the click, not after

An affiliate link you find out about afterwards feels like something that was hidden. The disclosure sits next to the buttons it applies to on every page, and in the footer of every page on the site.

Prices and availability

Rates shown on this site are indicative figures from our data export, given so you can tell a $120 stay from a $600 one. They are not live prices and they are not quotes. Live rates, availability, taxes, resort fees and cancellation terms are all on the property's own page.

If this ever changes

If we add another booking partner, display advertising or any form of paid placement, this page will say so and paid placements will be labelled wherever they appear. Questions: [email protected].
