What this website collects, what it does not, and where the hotel data comes from.
This is a static website with no accounts, no forms and nothing to submit. Almost everything it loads comes from our own server. The one exception is our analytics, and this page says exactly what that does.
What we collect directly
No accounts, no forms, no newsletter sign-up. There is no login and nothing on this site asks you for personal information.
Our web server keeps standard access logs - IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent - used for security and to see which pages are being read. They are not linked to any identity.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager to load our analytics. Depending on which tags are active in our container, this can set cookies in your browser and send Google information about your visit: the pages you view, roughly where you are (from your IP address), your device and browser, and how you arrived here.
We use this to understand which shortlists people actually find useful. We do not use it to identify you personally, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with anything else.
You can block it entirely with any browser setting or extension that blocks
googletagmanager.com, or by using your browser's Do Not Track and cookie controls. Nothing on
this site stops working if you do - there is no functionality behind it.
Third parties
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics - as described above. Google's own privacy policy applies to the data it receives.
- Booking.com - the Check availability buttons link there. Once you follow one, Booking.com's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We may receive anonymous confirmation that a booking originated here, for commission purposes.
- Nothing else. Hotel photography, fonts, styles and scripts are all served from our own server. No font service, no CDN, no advertising network, no social widgets, no chat, no heatmaps.
Where the hotel data comes from
Guest scores, review counts, property types, star classifications, amenity flags, indicative rates, coordinates and photography come from a Booking.com property export for the United States, dated August 2026. Our own contribution is the filtering, the geography, the Charming Score and the written selection criteria.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data beyond server logs, there is very little to request. If you are a property owner and want to query how your hotel is presented, or anyone who wants a log entry removed, email [email protected].
